For the Donuts:
1 1/2 Cups of Sprouted Wheat Flour
1/3 Cup of Coconut Sugar
1/2 Teaspoon of Baking Soda
1/2 Teaspoon of Baking Powder
1/2 Teaspoon of Iodine Salt
1 Tablespoon of Ground Flax Seed (Optional)
1 Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
1 Teaspoon of Apple Cider Vinegar
3/4 Cup of Almond Milk (or other plant milk)
1/4 Cup of Apple Sauce
1 Cup of Diced Strawberries
For the Strawberry Glaze:
1/2 Cup of Strawberries
4-5 Tablespoons of Erythritol
Splash of Coconut or other Plant Milk
Instructions:
1.) Preheat Oven to 375 Degrees Fahrenheit
2.) Add all dry donut ingredients to a large mixing bowl, mix.
3.) Add in all wet donut ingredients, mix, then fold in strawberries.
4.) Grease a donut tray with coconut oil (optional), then spoon or pipe in batter.
5.) Bake for about 14 minutes. (May vary depending on oven)
6.) While baking, make your glaze.
7.) When ready, let the donuts cool, then add your strawberry glaze on top. Spoon over or dip.
Instructions for Strawberry Glaze:
1.) Add all ingredients to a mason jar, blend well with a hand blender OR blend in a blender. Chill for best results.
