Vegan Tempeh Hoagie
This Vegan Tempeh Hoagie was inspired by Mellow Mushrooms Vegan Tempeh Hoagie. If you’re unfamiliar with this menu item, it’s a savory, flavorful marinated tempeh crumble with sautéed onions and peppers, vegan mayo, and melty Monterrey jack cheese, on a toasted French baguette.
This Vegan Tempeh Hoagie is so savory, juicy, flavorful, and comforting. I highly recommend you try it at either the Mellow Mushroom, or at home, or both! If both, let me know what you think.

Notes
1.) If you don’t have Vegan Monterey Jack Cheese, you can use a vegan mozzarella, cheddar, or enjoy without.
2.) You can assemble these hoagies, wrap them up, and enjoy later by just popping in your toaster oven. If you’re French bread is too hard the next day, just baste the top and bottom of the sandwich with a thin layer of water and watch it spring back to life in the toaster oven.
