Vegan Chicken Seasoning
This Recipe for Vegan Chicken Seasoning is so incredibly quick and easy to make. It is so versatile and can be used for a wide variety of dishes. You can add some to hot water to make a broth, add it to rice, ramen noodles, soups, stir fries, gravies, pot pies, vegan meats, and so much more!
Ingredients
- 1 Cup of Nutritional Yeast
- 1 1/2 Tablespoons of Onion Powder
- 2 Teaspoons of Garlic Powder
- 2 Teaspoons of Celery Salt
- 1 Teaspoon of Poultry Seasoning
- 1/4 Teaspoon of Turmeric
- 1 Teaspoon of Salt
Instructions
- Add all ingredients, stir or shake, then enjoy!
Notes
1.) If you don’t have poultry seasoning on hand, add a 1/2 teaspoon of Thyme and 1/2 Teaspoon of Sage instead.
2.) Taste your mixture if you like. Some people like their seasoning more or less salty. I have found that a teaspoon of salt is just enough for me and can always add more to the dish if I like. Some garlic powders are very weak too, so if you like more of a garlic flavor, feel free to add more!
3.) If you’re not sure how much to add to your dishes, try adding a 1/2 teaspoon to a teaspoon at a time until you find an enjoyable amount of chicken flavor. Each dish is different, so it all really depends on what else is in the dish.
