This fresh salsa is so quick and easy to make, the perfect dish to bring to parties.
The heat is about a mild to medium I would say. You can adjust to your liking by adding more or less jalapeño (with the seeds!) or even chile peppers for heat, or by adding more ripe mango for sweetness.
The Best Fresh Salsa (Quick and Easy Recipe)
Equipment
- 1 Food Processor (DO NOT USE A BLENDER IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ONE – ALTERNATIVELY, CHOP ALL INGEDIENTS VERY FINELY)
Ingredients
- 16 oz Fresh Tomatoes
- 1 Small Bunch of Cilantro
- 1/2 Red Onion
- 1 Large Jalapeño
- 1 Mango
- 3-4 Cloves of Garlic
- 1 Teaspoon of Salt
- Juice from 1 Lime
Optional Additions
- Pineapple
- Cucumber
- Green Onion
- Chile Pepper
- Bell Pepper
Instructions
- Peel your Onion, chop in half. Peel your garlic, and cut your mango.
- Add all ingredients to a blender and pulse until desired consistency. Optionally top with more fresh cilantro.
- Serve with sliced cucumbers, tortilla chips, or your favorite salsa pairing.
