This Tomatillo Salsa or Salsa Verde, is a delicious green salsa that’s crisp, refreshing, and packs a little kick.
I personally think this tomatillo salsa is more versatile than traditional tomato salsa. It’s great on wraps, tacos, nachos, burgers, quesadillas, burrito bowls, and more. I often enjoy it on its own with cucumber slices or tortilla chips.
Best part of all is you can make this salsa verde super fast by just throwing everything in your food processor. It’s a quick and easy recipe that’s basically fail proof.
Tomatillo Salsa/Salsa Verde (Moes Mock Recipe)
Equipment
- 1 Food Processor (If no food processor, you can just chop ingredients finely)
Ingredients
- 5 Tomatillos
- 1/2 White or Yellow Onion
- 1 Small bunch of Cilantro
- Juice from 1 Lime
- 1-2 Jalapeños
- 1 Teaspoon of Salt
Instructions
- Peel the shell off your tomatillos and take out the little core. I like to rinse mine after taking off the husk.
- Chop the stem off jalapeño, and take out some of the seeds, not all.
- Peel onion, chop in half.
- Put all ingredients into a food processor, pulse until we’ll combined. Pour into a bowl and enjoy!
