Oil Free Vegan Mayo
Easy Healthy Vegan Mayo – Little bubbles are normal, especially when made fresh.

This Healthy Vegan Mayo is Easy, Fast, Tasty, Allergy friendly, Cost effective, and Made with Staple Ingredients!

This easy healthy vegan mayo is so quick and easy to make it can be made in a pinch whenever you run out of Mayo. There is no oil or dairy used whatsoever, but you can’t taste the difference.

Not only is it easy to make and incredibly healthy, it’s made with staple ingredients. Fresh lemons and silken tofu remain in my fridge at all times. It’s amazing how many things you can do with these ingredients.  From a chocolate desert to healthy mayonnaise, silken tofu is quite amazing.

I’m very proud to say this recipe is super allergy friendly (except soy). Do not eat this Mayo if you have a soy allergy. This recipe is dairy-free, gluten free, nut-free, and oil free!

This Easy Healthy Vegan Mayo Recipe is Extremely Cost Effective, even Organic!

Just a few minutes or your time and a few staple ingredients is all you need to have healthy vegan mayonnaise in your refrigerator ready to go. This will also save you lots of money as vegan mayonnaise typically costs between $5-$10 (depending on location and brand) and is often not even organic and almost always unhealthy. Many use mostly oil with the addition of preservatives, or thickeners such as syrups extremely similar to corn syrup. (I.e. rice syrup). Brown rice syrup has a glycemic index of 98, which is higher than almost every other sweetener on the market. Here is an article that further explains brown rice syrup and it’s effects on the body: https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/brown-rice-syrup-good-or-bad#nutrition

This Easy Healthy Vegan Mayo Nourishes your Body.

These are not Whole Foods and leave your body unhappy. You can easily enjoy the same flavor, and while nourishing your body. Don’t believe me? Try for yourself!

This recipe as a whole jar of Mayo has about 20 grams of protein in it, if you’re into that..  and if you’re wondering how much protein is normally In mayonnaise – I’ll put it into perspective for you. A jar of Hellman’s regular mayonnaise has 0 grams of protein. A jar of Hellman’s vegan mayonnaise has 0 grams of protein as well. Almost all vegan mayonnaise I’ve looked at has 0 grams of protein with the addition of saturated fat. This mayonnaise is completely free of saturated fats and cholesterol. There is nothing used in this recipe besides healthy, nutritious, ingredients.

What about Oil? Isn’t Oil Healthy?

There are common misconceptions that oils are healthy for the body and provide a good source of nutrients. This is not true; Oils are processed foods that provide very little nutritional value. Every tablespoon of oil is 120 calories making it extremely calorically dense, the highest of any food!

The claim that Olive Oils are high in Omegas is just not true either. Olive Oil has a poor ratio of Omega 6 to 3 (14:1) when the goal is (4:1).

Excessive Saturated Fats (Even Olive Oil) stiffen the walls of the arteries and keeps them from dilating and relaxing in response to Nitric Oxide (which helps keeps our tissues healthy by allowing blood to be delivered to them). Olive Oil is 14% Saturated Fat when an excepted healthy goal is less than 7%.

So try reaching for the olives, the whole food, not the olive oil! There are many ways to make recipes work without oil. I’m here to help!

Here is an awesome easy to watch video by Dr. Michael Klaper who explains all the reasons why Oils are not health foods. You can watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OGGQxJLuVjg
