This Vegan Buffalo Chicken Pasta recipe is so quick and easy to make and so full of flavor. It’s creamy, savory, and has a little kick to it. It’s made up entirely of whole foods unlike your classic buffalo chicken pasta recipes. But you wouldn’t know by tasting this delicious pasta!
Quick and Easy Vegan Buffalo Chicken Pasta (Healthy Recipe)
A healthy version on the classic buffalo chicken pasta with the same creamy, savory, spicy flavor.
Ingredients
- 1 lb Angel Hair Pasta
Creamy Buffalo Sauce Ingredients
- 1 Large Potato Peeled and Chopped
- 6 Cloves of Garlic Peeled
- 1 1/4 Cup Water
- 1/4 Cup Nutritional Yeast
- 1/4 Teaspoon of Garlic Powder
- 1/4 Teaspoon of Onion Powder
- 1/4 Teaspoon of Dried Dill
- 2 Tablespoons of Tapioca Flour
- 1/4 Cup of Franks Red Hot hot sauce
Toppings
- 2 celery stalks with the leaves minced up for garnishing
- Vegan Chicken or Cooked Cauliflower
- Drizzle of hot sauce
Instructions
- Start boiling water in a large pot for pasta.
- While waiting for your water to boil, peel and chop your potato, peel your garlic, and add it to a small pot with 1 and 1/4 Cup of Water. Simmer with a lid on until potatoes are tender (About 10 minutes).
- Cook your pasta, then drain. Keep a lid over or let it sit in the water so it doesn’t dry out while you prepare your sauce.
- If adding vegan chicken or cauliflower, toss it on now.
- When your potatoes/garlic are tender, pour into a blender with all remaining ingredients, blend until smooth.
- Pour your sauce over your pasta noodles, toss, add on vegan chicken or cauliflower, then top with fresh chopped celery leaves and bits of celery, with a drizzle of more hot sauce.
