Equipment

  • 1 Food Processor (If no food processor, you can just chop ingredients finely)

Ingredients

  • 5 Tomatillos
  • 1/2 White or Yellow Onion
  • 1 Small bunch of Cilantro
  • Juice from 1 Lime
  • 1-2 Jalapeños
  • 1 Teaspoon of Salt

Instructions

  • Peel the shell off your tomatillos and take out the little core. I like to rinse mine after taking off the husk.
  • Chop the stem off jalapeño, and take out some of the seeds, not all.
  • Peel onion, chop in half.
  • Put all ingredients into a food processor, pulse until we’ll combined. Pour into a bowl and enjoy!

Notes

NOTES:
1.) If you do not have a food processor, you can always chop everything up finely, thought it won’t be as fast.
2.) I used about half a bunch of cilantro, you can add more or less based on your liking.
3.) If you like this recipe spicer, you can always add more jalapeño, and/or your own spicy peppers.
4.) Be sure to remove the husk also known as lantern on your tomatillos. They are not edible and are said to be poisonous. I like to give mine a rinse after peeling off the husk and I suggest you do the same, especially if it gets sticky underneath.
